About entré

“You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose"

- Dr Seuss

Entré is a not-for-profit University of Canterbury company, run by students for all tertiary students in the Canterbury region. Entré’s purpose is to encourage innovation in students, and open up hands-on opportunities and industry exposure for students at UC and Ara to gain experience and business mentorship. We want to help them to stand out and set themselves up for life after university.

We want to encourage and cultivate the entrepreneurial spirit among university students. Through our competitions and networking opportunities, we aim to inspire students to become more innovative and creative in whatever background or discipline they are in. Our networking events are a further initiative designed to introduce students to the business-world.

It doesn’t matter who you are, where you’re from or what you study, entré is a club that encourages individualism, innovation and creativity in students. We seek to enable students to go above and beyond their expectations of what they can achieve. Whether you’re interested in making money, helping others or simply trying something new, we are sure that we have something to offer you here at entré.
